Wood furniture. Vacuum with a soft brush. Wipe off stains by using light touch. Rinse, pat dry, wait until completely dry and polish.

Shower curtain. In a gallon of hot water: pour ½ cup liquid disinfectant, Wash the curtain with the mixture and rinse with a solution of 1 cup of lemon juice and 1 cup of salt in the hot water. Final rinse off with water. Make sure the bathroom is well-ventilated through an exhaust fan.

Throughout the house. Reduce moisture in the house with the help of humidifiers, fans and open windows. Be more cautious during the hot season. Fix plumbing leaks immediately. Make sure no rainwater can seep into your home. Clean fabric outside and inside the house clean and dry.
