We have also donated hundreds to the Ocean institute. The Chambers family has a family legacy of contributing to the OI in Dana Point. If you have never been their, it’s open to the public on weekends. Your kids can learn and explore ocean topics such as: Marine Biology, oceanography, and plenty of super cool hands on studying and learning. Beyond the weekends, during the school week, the Ocean institute has a continuous flow of classes and even overnight classes that study the sea through guided tide pool walks, and even charters on the Sea explorer, not to mention the way cool experience of sleeping on a square rig trading vessel from the 1800s.
